About Kutchi Deli

Kutchi Deli Parwana is the second chapter to the Parwana story. At the heart of Kutchi, meaning nomad or gypsy in Farsi, is a story of migration and new beginnings. Run by the children and partners of Parwana owners, Kutchi reflects a traditional sense of Afghanistan while embracing a chapter of change that brings with it new opportunities.

Lunch time diners will be treated to the rustic flavours of Afghan style street food in the heart of Adelaide's East End. All the while, Kutchi seeks to preserve the spirit of hospitality, gregariousness and generosity that underpins a meal in Afghanistan.

Kabuli palaw: long grain rice with caramelised carrots, sultanas, pistachios and almonds

Narenj palaw: long grain rice with candied orange peel, pistachios and almonds

Karayee Morgh: pan-fried chicken pieces, coated in a garlic, chili, coriander and yoghurt marinade. Served with naan, salad and chutney (option for GF)

Banjan borani: a signature dish at Parwana – eggplant simmered in a fresh tomato sauce, topped with a yoghurt sauce and mint (vegetarian, GF, and option for DF)

Sabzi: fresh spinach leaves, sautéed with chili, onion, garlic and spices (vegetarian, GF, DF)

Dahl: a red lentil curry, made with tomato, garlic, chili and fresh coriander (vegetarian, GF, DF)

Lamb qormah: a traditionally seasoned lamb curry (GF, DF)

Morgh qormah: chicken curry, seasoned with a mix of traditional Afghan spices. Simmered in a rich tomato and garlic sauce (GF, DF)

Kofta: lamb meatballs, seasoned with a mix of Afghan spices. Simmered in a tomato and garlic sauce (GF, DF)

-Dumplings-
Mantu: steamed dumplings stuffed with carrot and sautéed onion. Topped with a lamb mince sauce and a yoghurt dressing. Garnished with paprika and mint (vegetarian option available, DF available)

Options
& Extras

Adding starters: We are able to add starters to any of the packages, for an additional $3 per head per item. The starters to choose from:

Pekowrah: spiced vegetable fritters served with a chutney dipping sauce
Chukayih: a trio of seasonal dips, served with seasoned pita crackers

Adding extra menu items:We are happy to add on any menu items, in addition to those listed in the above packages, for an added price of $6 per head per menu item.

Dietary requirements: We are able to adapt several menu items to make them vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. Please feel free to discuss any dietary requirements with us.
